Apologies in advance for crossposting.

Dear fantastic colleagues,

This is a friendly reminder that exploratory papers for ECSCW2019—which
will take place in Salzburg, Austria, June 8-12th 2019—are due on January
25, 2019.

Exploratory paper submissions are smaller, focused studies,
works-in-progress, critical literature reviews, early results, and/or
provocative ideas that are not yet ready for a journal submission, but
could benefit from presentation and discussion at the ECSCW conference.
Accepted exploratory papers will be published in the ECSCW/EUSSET Digital
Library as an edited collection with ISBN and DOIs under the EUSSET DL
License. Exploratory papers at ECSCW 2018 can be found at
https://dl.eusset.eu/handle/20.500.12015/3112

With exploratory papers, we aim at having lively sessions that will
contribute to shaping the future of practice-focused CSCW research. ECSCW
has a strong tradition of foregrounding exploratory papers by interleaving
their presentations with the main program. In the past, exploratory papers
have been authored by both junior, mid-career, and senior scholars. For
ECSCW 2019, we plan to continue as well as innovate on these traditions
based upon the accepted papers (e.g. discussant on certain papers),

Please read more about exploratory papers at:
https://ecscw.eusset.eu/2019/submit/exploratorypapers/ and please do not
hesitate to contact your friendly exploratory papers chairs in case of
questions.

Papers should be submitted by January 25, 2019 to EasyChair at:
https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=ecscw2019

We are looking forward to your submissions!

Sincerely,

Norman Makoto Su
