MobiSys 2019 calls for posters describing novel work not published before.
The poster track is meant to introduce new or ongoing work and provide
opportunities for authors to interact directly with conference attendees.
Posters are especially suited for presenting controversial research
directions that may generate discussion, or promising ideas not yet
validated through extensive evaluation. All posters will be presented
during a specially designated poster session of the conference.
Persistent Exhibition NEW!!

In addition to the regular poster session, MobiSys 2019 provides the poster
authors with an option to participate in an additional presentation
format--persistent exhibition. Poster authors are highly encouraged to
participate in the persistent exhibition as they would benefit from
extended visibility and interaction during the conference. Poster authors
who opted in to the persistent exhibition will be invited to keep their
posters set up during the main conference program and interactively present
their posters at certain (likely multiple) break times. The persistent
exhibition will be set up at a highly visible and accessible location at
the conference venue. In order to preserve the authors’ privileges to
attend regular sessions, authors are expected to be with their own posters
and interactively present only at break times between sessions. Presentation is
not expected when a session is in progress, so that the authors may (and
should!) attend the session. Each poster in the persistent exhibition may
be scheduled for presentation on single or multiple days during the main
conference program, depending on the number of participating posters and
the space availability. Detailed schedule of persistent exhibition will be
announced once the actual number of participating posters is determined.

Opting in to the persistent exhibition is entirely up to the author’s
choice. The poster submission form will include an optional field
indicating the author’s intent to participate in the persistent exhibition.
Regardless of the persistent exhibition option, all posters will be invited
to the regular poster session by default. Not opting in to the persistent
exhibition will not negatively impact the chance of acceptance of a
submitted poster. However, *opting in to the persistent exhibition may be
acknowledged when selecting the best poster.* The poster co-chairs reserve
the right to cancel the persistent exhibition format if very few
submissions choose this option.
Submission Guidelines

Poster submissions must include an extended abstract no longer than two
8.5x11-inch pages, including all figures and references. This abstract
should be formatted in two columns, single-spaced, with a font no smaller
than 10-point. The abstract title should begin with "Poster:". Please do
not anonymize your submissions. Please use the same LaTeX template for full
papers of Mobisys 2019 for the extended abstract. Submissions must be in
Adobe PDF format. Authors remain responsible for checking that their
resulting PDF meets the MobiSys 2019 formatting guidelines.

Easels will be provided at the conference for 3x4 feet posters
(approximately 0.75x1.0 meters), and the posters should be sized
appropriately. Poster proposals should be submitted through the following

The abstracts of accepted posters will be posted on the conference website
and will appear in the conference proceedings. At least one author of an
accepted poster is expected to register for the conference and present the
poster in person.
Best Poster Award

All poster submissions will be considered for the Best Poster Award. Opting in
to the persistent exhibition may be acknowledged when selecting the best
poster. An independent review committee will select the winners at the
