Hi,

I am looking for usability professionals in the Philadelphia
metropolitan area who would like to join me in an effort to re-activate
the UPA Delaware Valley Chapter.

I've been in the area since the fall of 2002 and heard about the chapter
and the fact that lately it hasn't been meeting regularly, partly due to
lack of a meeting place and some unfortunate weather. Last summer, when
I did some volunteer work for the UPA website, Whitney Quesenbery asked
me if I'd be interested in helping to revive the chapter. This idea has
been gestating for awhile, but finally I was able to obtain support from
my company and secure a regular place for the chapter's meetings at
Primavera Systems, Inc. in Bala Cynwyd, PA.

The meetings can begin in September, with the first meeting during the
second week of the month:

When: 6:00 PM, September 9th, 2004 (Thursday)

Where: Primavera Systems, Inc.
                Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004

Purpose: Get to know each other, share individual backgrounds,
discuss direction for the chapter, chapter leadership, and ideas for the
meetings.

If you are interested, please email me directly at
[log in to unmask] and let me know if you have any other
ideas that you'd like to have on the agenda. Also, if you know anyone
who is not on the list but would like to come, please feel free to
invite them.

Hope to hear from you!

Natalia A. Minibayeva
