21st International Conference on Human-Computer Interaction
Due to multiple requests from prospective authors, the deadline for
poster submissions (abstract of 300 words) for HCI International 2019
has been extended to *Friday 1^st of March 2019.*
Subsequently, the two related deadlines have been also extended:
·*15 March 2019*: Notification of review outcome
·*29 March 2019*: Deadline for camera-ready submission and registration
The camera-ready poster extended abstracts shall have typically 6 pages
(no less than 4 and no more than 8 pages), and must be written in the
form of self-contained *short research papers*.
All extended abstracts of accepted for presentation posters will be
included in the conference proceedings to be published by Springer
<http://2019.hci.international/proceedings.html> as part of the
Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS) series. CCIS
is abstracted/indexed <http://www.springer.com/series/7899> in DBLP,
Google Scholar, EI-Compendex, Mathematical Reviews, SCImago and Scopus.
CCIS volumes are also submitted for the inclusion in ISI Proceedings.
Authors have also the option, if they so wish, not to publish in the
proceedings their extended poster abstracts and only present their
posters during the Conference.
Registration Regulation: For *poster presentation* at the Conference and
*inclusion* of the poster extended abstract in the conference
proceedings, at least one *registration* per poster is required *by* *29
March 2019*.
The poster sessions will take place during the 3 main conference days
(Monday 29 to Wednesday 31 July) and will accommodate the poster
presentations using standard-size poster boards.
Posters <http://2019.hci.international/posters.html> constitute short
reports on scientific results or professional news or work in progress.
The *best poster* (extended abstract) will receive an award
<http://2019.hci.international/awards.html>.
*N.B.* Please also note that there are currently available *additional
opportunities* to submit your work for presentation at the conference
(late breaking news <http://2019.hci.international/latebreaking.html>,
demonstrations <http://2019.hci.international/demonstrations.html>,
student design competition
<http://2019.hci.international/studentdesign.html> and exhibition
<http://2019.hci.international/exhibition.html>) as well as to attend
one or more of the24 half-day Tutorials
<http://2019.hci.international/tutorials-program> that will run from
Friday 26 to Sunday 28 July.
