                Special issue of British Journal of Educational Technology (BJET) : Individual Differences in Web-based Instruction 

                Second Call for papers

                Web-based instruction has been increasingly used to support teaching and learning.  Because the user group of web-based instruction includes learners from heterogeneous backgrounds, individual differences become an important issue in the development of web-based instruction. This special issue of BJET focuses on how individual differences influence student learning in web-based instruction.  Topics of interest may focus on, but are not restricted to:
                 
                *               Adult Learning;
                *       Cognitive Styles;
                *       Culture Factors;
                *       Disability Needs
                *       Domain Knowledge;
                *       Gender Differences;
                *       Spatial Ability
                *       System Experience
                   
                All papers will be refereed.  Articles should not normally exceed 4,000 words including references to any sources that readers might wish to trace. 

                Important dates:

                Deadline for authors to submit papers: March 14, 2003
                Notice of review results: April 7, 2003
                Deadlines for final version of papers: April 28, 2003
                Publication: August 2003
