_______________________________________________________
NordiCHI is the main Nordic forum for human-computer interaction
research.
It is a biannual conference, which has earlier been held in Stockholm
(2000), Århus (2002) and Tampere (2004).
NordiCHI 2006 invites original, innovative and exploratory papers
meeting
the highest international standards. We welcome papers attempting to
move
the field of HCI forward, promoting new techniques, methods, tools and
theories. NordiCHI aims to be a multidisciplinary forum for exchange of
the latest results in HCI, coming from and combining the social, the
technical, and the aesthetic. It is an international conference and
contributions are welcomed from all parts of the world. However, the
official written and spoken language of the conference is English.
Submission categories are long papers (up to 10 pages), short papers and
posters (up to 4 pages), tutorials, workshops, aesthetic artefacts,
interactive events (demos), panels, industrial experience reports, and
doctoral colloquium. Consult the web site for detailed information about
the requiremetns for each submission catetory (
http://www.nordiCHI.org/2006 ).
All submissions will be fully peer reviewed and accepted papers will be
published in the conference proceedings and CD, and through cooperation
with the ACM will be available as full-text (PDF) in ACM's Digital
Library.
