Dear Colleagues,

Save the date for the 16th International Web for All Conference (W4A’19), on May 13-15th 2019, in San Francisco, USA, (http://www.w4a.info), the premier venue for web accessibility research. W4A is co-located with the 27th International World Wide Web Conference, WWW’19 (https://www2019.thewebconf.org/).

The conference focuses on all aspect of web accessibility. Areas of general interest include, but are not limited to the following: age, cognition, culture, education, emotions, dexterity, disability, diversity, health, hearing, income, infrastructure, language, learning, literacy, mobility, situation, society, and vision.

This year’s special theme is "Personalization – Personalizing the Web". Personalization pervades all aspects of technology from home appliances to mobile phones, from shopping experiences to education. AI affords the potential for improved personalization to each individual's contextualized abilities. The Web of Things means that we now have the web on all kinds of devices (including wearables) - that will require better and seamless personalization for all. We therefore particularly welcome submissions that address the following topics:

•	Security, Ethics and Personalization
•	Personalization and Internet of Things/ Web of Things
•	Developments in Web Personalization
•	Mobile Personalization and Wearable Technology
•	Adaptive Assistive Technology
•	Customizable Learning and Learning Technology
•	Personalization and Inclusive technology
•	Personalization Transforming User Experience
•	Adjustments for Older Adults
•	Personalization for People with Learning Difficulties
•	AI and Machine Learning for User Needs
•	Standards for Personalization
•	Expectations and Evaluation of Personalization by People with Disabilities
•	Adapting to User Need Using Limited or Small Data
•	Infrastructure for Broad Personalization

But as in every year, don’t be deterred by the theme; all topics related to web accessibility are welcome as are papers dealing with wider aspects of digital accessibility and universal access.
