CALL FOR WORKSHOPS AND TUTORIALS

***WORKSHOPS***
Workshops are intended as small meetings on a forefront and advanced
topic that can deserve attention and a dedicated space. The deadline for
the proposal is a strict one and the acceptance process will follow a
ROLLING REVIEW STRATEGY: the notification will be issued within a few
days from the proposal submission, in order to allow a timely linking of
the workshop page to the conference page and a suitable dissemination of
the call for papers. Workshop proposals will have to include:
• the workshop title,
• a presentation of the workshop and of its framing in the conference,
• the related research areas and the expected number of submissions,
• the topics of interest,
• the names, affiliations and contacts of the organizers,
• the intended submission modalities.

On proposal approval, the organizers will prepare the final CfP
including the above information and, in addition, the link to the
workshop page.

Organizers of accepted workshops will be asked to prepare their
publication material by July 10th. This comprises:
- the workshop description (4 pages plus references using ACM
templates), which will be published in the ACM proceedings; such
description will include an introduction to the workshop topic and a
short comment on each accepted workshop contribution;
- the contributions accepted for inclusion in the workshop, which will
be published in the conference adjunct proceedings with an ISBN.
Therefore we warmly encourage to submit proposals well before the
deadline and to take advantage of the rolling review strategy.

***TUTORIALS***
Tutorials are small courses on a specific (forefront) tool or technique
of interest for the HCI Community. Candidate organizers of a tutorial
can submit their proposal as a 2-page description in pdf format
including the name of the organizers, affiliations, motivations,
organization, expected outcome, duration, material. Upon approval, the
tutorial will be devoted a dedicated space on the conference website,
and its description will be included in the adjunct proceedings. A
limited number of slots are available.

***Submission***
Proposals have to be sent by email to
