** W4A 2020 **

The 17th International Web for All Conference (W4A’20) takes place on April
19-21, 2020, in Taipei, Taiwan, (http://www.w4a.info/2020). The premier
venue for web accessibility research, W4A is co-located with the 28th
International World Wide Web Conference, TheWebConf'20 (
https://www2020.thewebconf.org/).

The conference focuses on all aspects of web accessibility. Areas of
general interest include, but are not limited to the following: age,
cognition, culture, education, emotions, dexterity, disability, diversity,
health, hearing, income, infrastructure, language, learning, literacy,
mobility, situation, society, and vision.

** Automation for Accessibility **

This year’s special theme is "Automation for Accessibility”. There's been a
revolution in accessibility and assistive technology with the
standardization of automation platforms and the lower costs of machine
learning and artificial intelligence. What are today's solutions? What will
be the future?

Automation for Accessibility covers a broad spectrum of evaluations,
individual adaptations, and Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence
solutions. We therefore particularly welcome submissions that address the
following topics:

- Automation for Accessibility Evaluations
- Security, Ethics, and Inclusion in Automation
- Automation and Internet of Things/ Web of Things
- Developments in Automation for the Web
- Automation within Mobile and Wearable Technology
- Adaptive Assistive Technology
- Customizable Learning and Learning Technology
- Automation and Inclusive Technology
- Automation Transforming User Experience
- Adjustments for Older Adults
- Automation for People with Learning Difficulties
- AI and Machine Learning for User Needs
- Standards for Automation
- Expectations and Evaluation of Automation by People with Disabilities
- Adapting to User Needs Using Limited or Small Data
- Infrastructure for Broad Automation

But as in every year, don't be deterred by the theme; all topics related to
web accessibility are welcome as are papers dealing with wider aspects of
digital accessibility and universal access.
