In his Ada history, Col. Whitaker notes that,
"In 1992 the Military Academies still do not teach Ada as their
primary language."  This is not good.  It is not in the DoD's
interests for future program managers to graduate with a built-in
bias for any language already known to be less than best for
most military purposes.  These will someday be the guys approving
the bids to write new stuff in B "because it's even easier to write
than C"

I suggest (and intend to tell the VIPs directly) that any student in
a service academy should be at least as familiar with Ada as with
any other language.  If necessary, use a little of the proposed
$1.5 million "investment in infrastructure" to ensure this.
