Due to multiple requests from prospective authors, the *deadline for 
paper submissions* for HCI International 2020 (HCII 2020), the 22nd 
International Conference on Human-Computer Interaction, *has been 
extended* to *Friday 25 October 2019*:

·*25 October 2019,*regular paper proposals (extended deadline - an 
abstract of 800 words is required)

·*31 January 2020,*poster proposals (an abstract of 300 words is required)

·*10 April 2020,*student design proposals (an abstract of 300 words and 
a video clip are required)

·*1 May 2020,*demonstrations (an abstract of 300 words is required)

HCII 2020 is organized under the auspices of 21 distinguished 
international boards and is expected to attract over 2,000 participants 
from more than 70 countries around the world. For the list of Affiliated 
Conferences / Thematic Areas, as well as their list of topics, please 
have a look at the Conference website 
<http://2020.hci.international/about.html>.

The Conference Proceedings 
<http://2020.hci.international/proceedings.html> will be published by 
Springer in a multi-volume set. Papers will appear in volumes of the 
Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) and Lecture Notes in Artificial 
Intelligence (LNAI) series. Poster Extended Abstracts will be published 
in the form of short papers in the Communications in Computer and 
Information Science (CCIS) series.

An award <http://2020.hci.international/awards.html> will be presented 
to the best paper of each of the HCII 2020 Thematic Areas / Affiliated 
Conferences and for the best poster extended abstract.

The Program for Student Volunteers 
<http://2020.hci.international/student-volunteers.html> gives full-time 
university students from around the world the opportunity to actively 
participate and contribute to one of the prestigious conferences in the 
field of HCI. The deadline for receiving applications is 31 January 2020.

USA) will give the *KeynoteSpeech 
<http://2020.hci.international/keynote-speech>* during the Opening 
Plenary Session <http://2020.hci.international/program.html> on Tuesday 
21 July 2020, 18:00 hrs. The title of his speech will be /“Advancing 
technologies will allow to reinvent HCI - Can we use it to finally 
address digital interface inequality - with less effort - and to better 
effect?”/
