The 20th ACM Interaction Design and Children (IDC), 2021 is now 
accepting applications for its Work in Progress (WiP) track.

This track is suited to work-in-progress and late breaking work. We 
define work-in-progress as emerging work that has not been fully 
realized or developed, for which full empirical data may not yet be 
available, or that has not yet reached a level of maturity expected for 
other types of submissions. We define late breaking work as current work 
that is very new.

We encourage anyone who has work that fits this track to submit! All 
accepted WiP papers will be peer reviewed and included in the conference 
proceedings published in the ACM Digital Library.

WiP papers should not exceed 6 pages in length excluding references, and 
should use the new single column ACM SIGCHI Paper Format.

Submission deadline: April 12, 2021 by midnight AoE
Notifications: May 3, 2021
Camera ready deadline: May 10, 2021

IDC 2021, previously planned to be a hybrid conference (online and in 
Athens, Greece), will be held online-only on June 26-30, 2021. Now in 
its 20th year, ACM IDC is the premier international conference for 
researchers, educators and practitioners to share the latest research 
findings, innovative methodologies and new technologies in the areas of 
inclusive child-centered design, learning and interaction. The overall 
theme for ACM IDC 2021 is “Global meets local: designing with and for 
children in a changing world”.
