We cordially invite you to submit your short papers/long papers/workshops and special sessions proposals for the IEEE International Conference on Automatic Face and Gesture Recognition (FG2020),

The 15th IEEE International Conference on Automatic Face and Gesture Recognition (FG 2020) will be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, 18-22 May 2020. The IEEE conference series on Automatic Face and Gesture Recognition is the premier international forum for research in image and video-based face, gesture, and body movement recognition. Its
broad scope includes: advances in fundamental computer vision, pattern recognition and computer graphics; machine learning techniques relevant to face, gesture, and body motion; interdisciplinary research on behavioral analysis; new algorithms and applications. Topics of interest include but are not limited to:

- Face recognition & biometrics
- Face analysis and synthesis
- Body action and activity recognition
- Gesture recognition, analysis and synthesis
- Affective computing and multi-modal interaction
- Psychological and behavioral analysis
- Perceptual and cognitive aspects of non-verbal interaction
- Databases and tools for FG
- Technologies and applications related to FG


Paper submission deadline [extended]: 11 October 2019
Workshops, tutorials and Challenges: 18 and 22 May 2020
Main Conference: 19 to 21 May 2020

A special issue ‘The Best of FG2020’ will be published by IEEE Transactions on Biometrics, Behavior, and Identity Science (T-BIOM). Authors of selected FG papers will be invited to submit suitably extended versions to this special issue in early March 2020, with first decisions planned to arrive in September 2020.
