Dear Colleagues,

"ECSCW – European Conference on Computer-Supported Cooperative Work – The International venue on Practice-centred computing and the Design of cooperation technologies” is a series of conferences on computer-supported cooperative work located in Europe. ECSCW is one of the oldest conference series in the field and takes place as a single-track event offering much space for reflection and discussion. The first edition was held in 1989 in the UK. Since 2017 the conference has taken place each year. It is the primary venue for exchange on the practice-centred computing and the design of cooperation technologies. The conference is organised by the vibrant community of researchers connected to EUSSET: https://www.eusset.eu/ .

It is a pleasure to announce that the ECSCW 2021 (June 7 to 11, 2021) is taking shape. The CONFERENCE PROGRAM is full of paper presentations and keynotes to spark critical and engaging discussions on the impact of technology and digitalisation on the way we live and work. ECSCW has the tradition of featuring cross-disciplinary insights and inspiration. It is not different in this year’s edition: Eszter Hargittai, Abraham Bernstein, and Marc Hassenzahl are joining us during the conference to provide controversial and inspiring keynotes regarding the use of social media during COVID-19, full stack computer science research, as well as socialising over distance. Furthermore, the numerous papers cover various sides of digitalisation: design, development, communication, communities, and digital work environments. Apart from the main conference, the participants can attend one of the 6 workshops and masterclasses. Visit our website to see the full program: https://ecscw.eusset.eu/2021/full-program-schedule/ .
