Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position in the Department
of Computer Science at Memorial University, St. John's, Newfoundland and
Labrador, Canada. The position is subject to budgetary approval.

  The research areas are transactional aspects and data consistency
problems in the Internet of Things.

  Newfoundland is the most easterly province of Canada. St. John's
is the provincial capital with a population of over 150,000.
It enjoys a moderate climate and offers numerous outdoor activities
throughout the year. Memorial University has a student population of
about 19,000. The Department of Computer Science has about 25 faculty
members, and offers undergraduate, Master's and Ph.D. programs.

  The postdoctoral position is for one year. It carries a stipend of about
$40,000 (Canadian).  Candidates should have completed a Ph.D., within
the last two years, in Computer Science or a related discipline, and
have a strong background in theory. Applications including a curriculum
