A PhD position (TVL E13, 100%) is available at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt, Germany in the interdisciplinary HCI research group (Prof. A. Riener), to be filled as soon as possible:
Research Associate (m/f/d) in the BMBF research project SAFIR:
Computer Scientist with HCI and Human Factors Expertise (TVL-E13)
Tasks:
* Design, implementation and execution of simulator/real-world studies in automated driving.
* Development and evaluation of simulation environments for vehicles and vulnerable road users, primarily in AR/VR.
* Modeling human behavior in dynamic traffic contexts (statistical models, ML).
* Programming of driving simulators considering relevant standards for safety and usability.
* Implementation of software components/interfaces for the integration of physiological measurement devices.
* Statistical evaluation and publication of research results.
