The June, 2004 issue of ACM SIGACT News is now available online
http://sigact.acm.org/sigactnews/online.html
and has been sent to the printers. You can access the
Distributed Computing Column at
http://theory.lcs.mit.edu/~rajsbaum/sigactNewsDC.html
It contains the paper
"A Pleasant Stroll through the Land of Infinitely Many Creatures"
by Marcos Aguilera.

You can access there all past DC Columns. The latests are:
Column #10 and #11: "Deconstructing Paxos" and "Reconstructing Paxos"
by Romain Boichat, Partha Dutta, Svend Frolund, and Rachid Guerraoui
Column #12: "Applications of Lattice Theory to Distributed Computing" by
Vijay Garg, Neeraj Mittal, and Alper Sen.
Column #13: A description of the PODC 20th anniversary Special Issue
published by Distributed Computing journal.

I hope the column will contribute to the visibility of our field,
and participation from everybody is requested to make it more
successful and useful.
Please send me any comments or suggestions for material I should
be including, such as news and communications, and suggestions for
authors willing to write a guest column or to review an event related
to theory of distributed computing.
In particular, I would welcome open problems
with a short description of context and motivation.
