Dear Ruth and Rukiye,

I was enrolled in your workshop but it was impossible to join due to a
last minute news (more information at the end of the message).

A saw the session in the youtube channel. Very good session. I would
like to comment on one idea: women in wikipeadia.

About 5 years ago, a group of women from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra
(UPF) started an action to give visibility to "local" or "near" and
present women. It is a competition for school groups, and the goal is to
create good web pages about STEM women. The competition grows year by
year, and at present it is international (LATAM).
https://www.wisibilizalas.org/
(the web is only in Spanish, sorry!)

It was a very good initiative :-)

And about the last minute news: on 22 I was informed that a UPC project
about inclusion of the gender perspective in teaching was selected for
the "Encarna Sanahuja" award offered by Catalan govern. And the ceremony
was on 23 in Girona during the official inauguration of the university
academic year.

As member of the team of the project, I went to Girona to receive the
award :-)

See you this afternoon !!!

Núria
