Dear colleagues,
Applications are invited for a postdoc position at the Department of Computer Science, University of Surrey, UK. The position is offered as a part of a strategic growth in the research area of distributed systems. The successful candidate will be working with Professor Gregory Chockler within the Surrey Centre for Cyber Security, an Academic Centre of Excellence in Cyber Security Research.
The successful candidate will be expected to conduct research in the general area of reliable distributed systems. The specific research topics will be determined based on the common interests of the candidate and the supervisor. Possible areas include design, implementation and verification of distributed protocols for consensus, data replication, distributed transaction processing, Byzantine fault-tolerance, blockchains, and scalable data diffusion in adversarial settings.
