It is not a surprise that Dr. Dobbs printed an obituary for Ada.  It
is in their best interest for Ada to die.  None of their advertisers
support Ada.  They rarely print an article about it.  From their view
it is a non-language.

Moreover, this is one more bit of fall-out from the ill-conceived
report of the NRC regarding Ada.

And now we are beginning to feel the effect of the suspended Ada policy.
Already, some DoD contractors are informing us that they have decided
to use C++ instead of Ada since they no longer need to get a waiver.
Perhaps we will weather this.  If not, so be it.

Some days are downright discouraging.
