Returning to the original topic -- prompted by a someone who
wanted amunition for a language decision process within his company ...

There is a nice white paper by Anoix called "Is Ada Good for My Business"
which includes an overview of comparative data provided by various other
relevant sources -- done in a business-oriented non-flame-war manner.
