WHICH ADA DID YOU MEAN?
Your Oct. 6 issue contained multiple references to the continued use
of the "ADA" software language in the aerospace industry (p. 46).
While it is gratifying to see that this technology continues to
thrive, your references to ADA (the American Dental Assn.?) rather
than Ada (Countess of Lovelace, for whom the language was named) are
confusing. Not all words in the software vocabulary are acronyms.
