PRODUCT SUMMARY

This compact volume adopts the point of view that an Ada program is
like a set of Lego blocks snapped together. Example programs are
depicted graphically, showing the relationships between the
various software modules. A unique glossary/index makes it easy
for readers to find explanations and examples of language features.
There are six chapters, three appendices and a 20-page
glossary/index. The first four chapters cover the essentials,
while the last two provide brief introductions to Ada's support
for OOP and concurrency, respectively.

Ada Essentials is designed for programmers who are experienced
in one or more other languages and desire a quick way to learn Ada
essentials, illustrated with small, compilable, runable programs.
It can also serve as a supplementary reference source for students
taking college courses or corporate training courses in Ada.
