But Just Hit Delete is also what the spammers recommend.
In line with the advice to never do anything the spammers
suggest, I report all spam I receive on this list to those
responsible for the originating IP address (not ACM).

Personally I use http://spamcop.net , but there are other tools
that can be used as well.  I am under no illusion that my own
efforts make that much difference, but if everybody reported it...
