Yup.  ObjectAda for Windows is not part of the Visual tool set
primarily because (bottom line) it would have required writing a
check from those who have the least to those who have the
most.  Appeals to logic, competitive advantage over Sun/Java,
etc., fell into the void.

Actually, there is (was) an Ada company out there with the resources
to buy into a bit of MS mindshare, but rightly or wrongly, they were
too busy hiding from Ada publicity for their MS connection to matter
to the people on this list.

MS is definitely a prohibitive monopoly, although by my experience
they are not a malevolent one as so many presume.  They're just
so friggin' big that it's hard to make a dent.

Whining in the darkness about the unfairness of it all is a big waste
of time.  My slogan for Ada is:  Just Use It.  You can't resolve
stupidity (or simple expedience) for the rest of the world, and there
aint no money, anywhere, for a top-down assault that's a decade
and a half too late.

Just Use It.
