Hi, Everyone,
Thought you might be interested (especially those of you interested in
promoting Ada in your local areas). The SE Department at Monmouth
University and the local Jersey Shore SIGAda chapter have recently
become more closely linked to each other (I'm the Academic Liason for
the local chapter), and Monmouth University SE Dept is now hosting the
Jersey Shore SIGAda web pages and some of the local meetings. You can
read the web pages (including meeting announcements) at:
http://www.monmouth.edu/muse/sigada/
You can also read about the SE Dept's program on our web pages at:
http://www.monmouth.edu/muse/
(MUSE = Monmouth University Software Engineering)
The SE Dept at Monmouth University is affiliated with the Software
Engineering Institute, the Jersey Shore SIGAda, and the Public Ada
Library (PAL). Several courses offered by the SE Dept are available in
the PAL and on the Walnut Creek Ada CDROM (the Walnut Creek Ada CDROM is
sold in the MU bookstore and is required for some of the courses taught
by the SE Dept) ... and some of those courses are not even Ada-intensive
(the PAL and the Ada CDROM contain a lot of non-Ada material on SE and
related topics, such as testing and reuse).
