I agree that "TEAM-ADA" should appear in either the subject line or address
   of all messages forwarded by the server.

   Although the products mentioned below may provide some team members with
   solutions, some of us are on networks where the systems administrator
   determines which applications can be used. In the case of DoD agencies, the
   de facto standard seems to be cc:Mail. This app allows the user to create
   rules for storing or sorting messages into folders and achives. However, in
   order to create a good generic rule, I need to have something common within a
   set of messages.

   I used to have a rule to store Team-Ada messages in a folder whenever
   Team-Ada appeared in the author field. Since the change in the server, all of
   the Team-Ada messages arrive with the original author in the author field and
   the original subject in the subject field. This has made my rule useless.

   I recently took a couple of days off and had 58 messages when I returned. The
   majority were Team-Ada messages. Since all of the messages were in the
   In-Box, I had to manually sort through all 58 to find any important messages
   from the boss. I'm just glad I wasn't TDY for a whole month.

   So,PLEASE can we put "Team-Ada" somewhere in the subject or author fields.

There is a free program available called procmail which you can use to
intercept mail as it comes in and sort it into various files (and do a lot
more with it).  That may be of use if Netscape will allow you to shift mail
files/folders.

procmail seems robust, though I haven't used it long.  The distribution
includes very well done man pages.
