The GMD Institute for Applied Information Technology (FIT) in Germany is
offering a post-doc position in its CSCW research group.

We are particularly looking for candidates with interests in our research
areas "Basic Cooperation Support" and "Computers as a social medium". More

Applicants for this position should have the following qualifications:

- PhD in Computer Science or related discipline,
- Knowledge of the area of CSCW and agent technologies,
- Experience in object oriented programming languages (C++, Java),
- Good knowledge of English or German is required.

Appointments will be made for up to 3  years. The compensation is based on
the German BAT IIa/Ib salary schemes, depending on age, work experience and
qualification (e.g. 29 years old, single, 75.000 DM per year).
