CHI97 Special Interest Group (SIG) Call for Participation
CHI 97 Special Interest Groups (SIGs) enable groups sharing an interest
to
meet informally for at least one and a half hours of discussion at the
conference. CHI 97 provides meeting facilities and will advertise SIG
meetings to the rest of the conference. Accepted proposals received
by January 24th, 1997 will be advertised in the final program. SIGs
accepted
after that date will be announced only at the conference.
Following the conference SIG organisers are encouraged to submit an
article
summarising the SIG for publication in the SIGCHI Bulletin. Additionally
several SIGs have led to proposals for successful workshops at
subsequent
CHI conferences.
