** Workshop Proposal Deadline: May 15, 2014 **



WORKSHOP PROPOSALS:



Workshop proposals are solicited with the aim of exploring special topics
and providing a forum to present early research results and share
experiences focused on more specific research areas than the main
conference.



Workshop proposals are invited for the half- or full-day workshop in the
areas of communications, networks, or other ICT-related topics. Please send
your proposal (the form is available at http://www.ictc2014.org or at the
bottom of this e-mail) to the Workshop Co-Chairs, Prof. Sungrae Cho (
[log in to unmask]), Prof. Jae-Hyun Kim ([log in to unmask]), and Prof.
Sunghyun Choi ([log in to unmask]) no later than May 15, 2014. Notification of
acceptance will be made by May 20, 2014.



Accepted papers will be published in the ICTC 2014 proceedings with an
assigned ISBN number and submitted to IEEE Xplore, SCOPUS, and EI
Compendex. You are invited to submit papers in all areas of
infrastructures, services, technologies, and applications for ICT
convergence.



KEYNOTE SPEAKERS and SPECIAL TALKS:



During ICTC 2014, keynote speeches will be delivered by Qualcomm, Samsung
Electronics, Intel, ETRI, and various special talks will also be given by
prominent experts.



PRESENTATION:



The accepted paper will be presented in a workshop. All accepted papers
will appear in the ICTC 2014 proceedings and will be submitted to IEEE
Xplore only if at least one of the authors attends the conference to
present the paper.



JOURNAL PUBLICATION:



Extended versions of selected papers will be recommended for publication in
SCI(E)-indexed journals such as Journal of Communications and Networks,
ETRI Journal, Int’l Journal of Distributed Sensor Networks, and other
journals including Information Journal, KICS Journal, and ICT Express after
an express review and further revisions.
