The HCI Bibliography is a free-access bibliography on Human-Computer
Interaction. It now has now has over 17,200 entries, most with abstracts,
and now with over 4000 links to online information (websites and full text).
http://www.hcibib.org/
The HCIBIB home page has had over 13,000 visits since April,
and the search service receives over 5000 search requests a month.
The HCI Bibliography update is winding down from a major update
to bring the content up to date and provide an adequate search service.
The home page has been updated with more information about the
contents of the bibliography, the search service, and the project itself.
There is a "What's New" page to provide a quick overview of updates.
More details are posted in occasional announcements to the SIGCHI list:

and these announcements are archived on the HCIBIB site.
One of the most exciting developments is the addition of thousands
of links from HCIBIB records to full text online. Most of these
links (e.g., Elsevier and ACM Digital Libraries) require a subscription,
but many (e.g., CHI 95-97 proceedings) do not. Most of the links are
to scanned proceedings from ACM conferences, converted to PDF format.
These print adequately (don't scale to fit to page!) and go back to 1991.
The ACM DL subscription for all journals/conferences is $86 per year,
or about the cost of two journals. You'll need a fast connection.
Although not yet properly incorporated in the HCI Bibliography,
IEEE Computer Society publications are an excellent Digital Library.
I am collecting links to publishers' digital libraries at:
http://www.acm.org/sigchi/publications/#DIGITAL_LIBRARY
To get you started on some searches, you can get help on site,
and the following link will get you to a results screen with
links to some carefully crafted queries (that's right, there
are queries stored in the bibliography).

The site is sponsored by ACM SIGCHI; the scanning setup by Apple.
I hope it is useful to you.
