The School of Arts, Media and Engineering at Arizona State University
(AME, http://ame.asu.edu) offers several highly collaborative
graduate-level programs that draw on disciplines ranging from dance
and design to electrical engineering and educational technology. We
offer master's-level and PhD-level digital media concentrations, as
well as a PhD in Media Arts and Sciences.

Students with training in related art, science, engineering, or
humanities fields are welcome to apply. Applicants should have a track
record that demonstrates interest and potential in transdisciplinary
media training and should be comfortable in a computational
environment.

Prospective students interested in the PhD program can feel free to
email me directly ([log in to unmask]) to discuss potential research areas
in Human Computer Interaction and/or Design. In particular, I am
looking for students interested in projects aligned with DIY practice,
community outreach, political computing, or citizen science.

The MA in Digital Culture is a two-year degree program geared towards
practitioners of design and the arts. The program welcomes students
who have an interest in software and system development and seek to
enhance their practice through expanded engagement with interactive,
embodied media design in an interdisciplinary environment.
