The early registration deadline for the Workshop on Multimodal User
Authentication (MMUA-2003) has been updated to October 29th. Details are
on the website at http://mmua.cs.ucsb.edu.

The MMUA workshop will focus on recent advances and new paradigms in
multimodal biometrics. It will take place on December 11-12, 2003, in
Santa Barbara, CA. Invited speakers for the workshop are:

- Josef Bigun, Halmstad University
- Gary Strong, U.S. Department of Homeland Security
- James Wayman, San Jose State University

32 papers will be presented on various relevant topics in biometrics and
multimodal authentication; see the web site for the list of papers and
the tentative schedule.
