Hi CHI folks,

This is just a reminder that as you plan on registering for CHI2004
or are reviewing your current conference plans, you might also give
some thought to continuing your professional development by taking
one or more of the CHI 2004 tutorials that wait for you in Vienna.

As have previous year's tutorials co-chairs, this year we have aimed
at offering a program of tutorials which addresses several different
aspects of professional development for CHI Community members.

If your background is in computer science you will find tutorials
focused on the cognitive and social aspects of HCI.

If your background is in the behavioral sciences you will find
tutorials focused on the computing aspects of HCI.

If you need to hone your understanding of usability work or of
setting up the facilities to collect and analyze usability
information you will find tutorials focused on important usability
aspects of HCI.

If you are a manager or are planning on a move into management or
consulting you will find tutorials focused on the business aspects of
HCI.

If you are interested in knowing more about some of the important new
areas of HCI you will find tutorials focused on Mobile technology and
Robotics (technology which is mobile and you get a chance to "drive
it yourself").

You will find the full listing and descriptions of this year's tutorials at
http://www.chi2004.org/program/prog_tutorials.html

And remember, "Vienna waits for you."

Rgds,
