ISVC 2020: 15th International Symposium on
Visual Computing

October 5-7, 2020
Location: Virtual
https://nam04.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.isvc.net%2F&data=01%7C01%7Cisvc_cfp%40lists.unr.edu%7C0e10343025574b5e0ce408d84269ef31%7C523b4bfc0ebd4c03b2b96f6a17fd31d8%7C1&sdata=m%2BsBH17rPnbZblnKursY0fW0pgcUPwXzL6Cg4HjBwwQ%3D&reserved=0

The purpose of the International Symposium on Visual Computing (ISVC) is to
provide a common interdisciplinary forum for researchers, scientists, engineers
and practitioners to present their latest research findings, ideas, developments
and applications in visual computing. In particular, ISVC seeks papers
contributing to the state of the art and practice in the four main areas of
visual computing: (1) computer vision, (2) computer graphics, (2) visualization
and (4) virtual reality. Of special interest are papers that combine ideas from
two or more areas. Specific topics of interest can be found on the ISVC website.

The symposium will consist of invited and contributed presentations (oral and
poster) dealing with all aspects of visual computing. In addition to the main
program, the symposium will include keynote presentations, tutorials, special
tracks, and poster sessions. The symposium’s proceedings
will be published by Springer-Verlag in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science
(LNCS) series.

*** Submission and Review Process ***
This is a fully refereed symposium. Papers submitted to ISVC must not be
currently under consideration for publication in another conference. Each
submission will be reviewed by three members of the Program Committee (PC) using
a “double-blind” review process to determine its appropriateness for acceptance
and presentation (oral or poster) at ISVC. Therefore, submissions should not
contain names or other information revealing authors’ identity. Papers will be
reviewed with an emphasis on potential to contribute to the state of the art in
the field. Selection criteria include accuracy and originality of ideas, clarity
and significance of results, and presentation quality. Papers should be
submitted in camera-ready format and their length should match that intended for
final publication.

*** Publication ***
The symposium's proceedings are published by Springer-Verlag in the Lecture
Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series. Information on abstracting and indexing
of the LNCS series can be found on the ISVC website.

*** Attendance ***
ISVC is a premier forum for presenting and discussing current research in visual
computing. At least one author of each accepted paper must complete the
symposium registration and present (using the virtual platform) their paper(s).
If none of the authors present their paper(s) due to unforeseen reasons, they
should contact the steering committee chair to make proper arrangements and to
avoid their paper to be withdrawn from the symposium proceedings.

*** Job Posting ***
If your institution or company has any job openings, you can post an
announcement free of charge on the ISVC website using the link below:
