The 8th International Conference on Mobile Computing,

          Applications and Services (MobiCASE 2016)

            November 30 - December 1, 2016, Cambridge, United Kingdom

The International Conference on Mobile Computing, Applications, and
Services (MobiCASE) is a premier scientific forum that brings together
academic researchers and industrial professionals to advance research
in the area of Mobile Computing, Applications, and Services. Work that
is best suited for a poster submission includes – but is not limited
to – preliminary results, provoking and current topics, novel
experiences or interactions that have not been fully tested but show
great promise, summaries of small-scale studies, design explorations
etc. Posters provide the opportunity for researchers to get feedback
on early-stage work, discuss potential collaborations and discuss the
burning issues in MobiCASE in an informal manner with the larger
MobiCASE community. Poster abstracts appear in the ACM DL. Copyright
is retained by the authors, and the material from them can be used as
the basis for future publications as long as there are “significant”
revisions from the original. The areas addressed by the Posters Track
are the same as the main conference, including Mobile Computing,
Applications and Services.

The MobiCASE 2016 Demo Track showcases work in progress and research
in a more informal setting. Similar to the main MobiCASE 2016
conference, the Demo Track aims to be a forum for practitioners and
researchers from diverse backgrounds to interact and exchange
preliminary results about the design and implementation of mobile and
ubiquitous systems. The areas addressed by the Demo Track are the same
as the main conference, including Mobile Computing, Applications and

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

• Innovation in Mobile Apps, Networking, and Computing

• User Interfaces and Interaction Technologies for Mobiles

• Location and Context Sensing/Awareness

• Mobile Computing and Internet of Things

• Smartphones and Wearable Platforms

• Mobile Cloud Computing and Big Data

• Mobile Security and Privacy

• Mobile Data Analytics and Modeling

• Support for Social Networks and Mobile Web

• Energy Efficiency in Mobile Systems Design

Submission guidelines and detailed instructions can be found in the
Author's Kit (

All poster submissions must include a paper in the ACM double-column
format. The page limit is 2 pages. Submission guidelines and detailed
instructions in the Author's Kit

The review process will be single-blind and submissions must *NOT* be
anonymized. Poster submissions need to be submitted via the Easychair
conference system:

Posters will be reviewed by members of the MobiCASE Poster Session
Committee. Confidentiality of submissions is maintained during the
review process. All rejected submissions will be kept confidential in
perpetuity. All submitted materials for accepted submissions will be
kept confidential until the start of the conference.

Please submit the demo paper here :

All demo submissions must include a paper in the ACM double-column
format with a maximum page limit of 2 pages, including all references.
Submitted papers will undergo a rigorous review process handled by the
Technical Program Committee. Additional author names cannot be added
after acceptance.

Authors of full papers accepted to the main conference track are
encouraged to take advantage of the poster and demo session as an
opportunity to foster further discussion and exposure for their work.
Poster and demo paper submissions associated with an accepted full
paper will undergo a fast-track peer review.

Presentation at the conference

Upon acceptance, you should prepare your poster in order to
effectively communicate your research problem, techniques, and
results, highlighting what is novel and important about your work. For
each accepted poster, at least one author must register for the
MobiCASE 2016 conference by the early registration deadline. During a
dedicated poster session, authors will have the opportunity to
accompany their posters, present and discuss them with conference
attendees. The posters are recommended to be in A0 or similar format
(84cm x 119cm / 33 x 47), and must be in portrait orientation. Authors
are expected to bring the accepted posters to the conference site with
them and be present throughout the poster session.
