2nd EAI International Conference on Design, Learning & Innovation

*OCTOBER 30–31, 2017 | HERAKLION, GREECE*

*SPECIAL TRACK*

*Bridging the GAP between Researchers and Practitioners in Child-Computer
Interaction *

You are hereby invited to contribute to the dedicated track on
collaboration between researchers and practitioners in the field of
Child-Computer Interaction, held during the 2nd EAI International
Conference on Design, Learning & Innovation.

Αs young children are exposed to technology more than ever before. The
rapid spreading of affordable handheld devices combined with the
continuously launch of new applications and products as well as new forms
of interaction, e.g. touch and tangible technology, poses new challenges to
practitioners and researchers. This track aims at bringing together
cross-disciplinary researchers and practitioners to share and reflect their
experience identifying benefits and constraints targeting advance of
knowledge in this area.

We thus welcome and encourage practitioners and researchers working in this
cross-disciplinary field, to submit a paper to this dedicated track.

All accepted papers will be published by Springer and made available
through SpringerLink Digital Library, one of the world's largest scientific
libraries.

Accepted Authors will be invited to submit an extended version of their
work to a Special Issue in the International Journal of Child-Computer
Interaction. (
