CALL FOR PAPERS – submission details changed!
CSERC '12, the 2nd Computer Science Education Research Conference,
Wroclaw, Poland, September 9 – 12, 2012,
Hosted by FedCSIS, the 2012 Federated Conference on Computer Science and Information Systems

http://www.fedcsis.org/cserc

Computer Science Education Research Conference (CSERC'2012) aims at creating a platform for researchers in the field of computer science education. Over the years it has become clear that there is a need for more fundamental knowledge about and input into computer science education. To contribute to this, last year CSERC'2011 has been organized in Heerlen, Netherlands, annex to a Dutch Conference for Computer Science Teachers, NIOC'11. Like CSERC’2011, CSERC'2012 is intended to be in cooperation with ACM's Special Interest Group on Computer Science Education (SIGCSE, pending approval). This year CSERC will be hosted by FedCSIS 2012.
Themes of CSERC are:

• designing a Computer Science curriculum
• didactics and teaching methods for Computer Science subjects
• development of professional competencies in Computer Science
• tools and instruments supporting Computer Science Education
• field studies in Computer Science Education
• cultural and regional differences in Computer Science Education
• convergence and divergence in Computer Science bachelor and master Education
• vocational and professional Computer Science Education
