Final Call for Papers
IASDR 2015 Workshop: Research on Experience Design - Quo Vadis?
https://blogs.aalto.fi/xdresearch/
Welcome to join us for the IASDR Workshop in Brisbane on 2nd Nov 2015!
‘Experience Design’ or ‘Designing for Experience’ is a rapidly developing research area in the design field. With its multidisciplinary nature (e.g. connections with psychology, sociology, culture studies as well as ICT) and increasingly wider application in recently developed design foci (e.g. service design, behaviour change, wellbeing, B2B context), there are great emerging opportunities and challenges waiting for design researchers and practitioners to explore and tackle with in the near future. This one-day workshop invites researchers and designers from both academia and industries to update the research landscape of experience design, and co-create a vision of this expanding research area.
Main Questions to be Addressed
* What are the current research questions and scientific challenges of designing for experiences?
* What are the emerging research topics, industry needs, domains, interplay with other disciplines, challenges and opportunities in this expanding area?
