EUROHAPTICS 2012  CALL FOR PAPERS
June 12-15, 2012

EuroHaptics is a major international conference and the primary European 
meeting for researchers in the field of human haptic sensing and touch 
enabled computer applications. This diverse field covers research in 
areas including, but not limited to, haptic perception, haptic hardware, 
haptic rendering and haptic applications, such as surgical simulation, 
rehabilitation robotics, and haptic feedback for design and applied arts 
applications. We invite papers on all aspects of haptic research and 
applications!

EuroHaptics 2012 will provide researchers from academia and industry 
with an opportunity to present ideas, obtain feedback and establish 
contacts with other haptics researchers from around the world. Haptic 
hardware and software developers will also be provided with the 
opportunity to get familiar with the latest research, as well as to 
demonstrate their products to a wider audience, and discuss specific 
requirements first hand with existing and potential customers.

IMPORTANT DATES
January 15, 2012: Deadline for workshop proposals
February 15, 2012: All submissions due (strict deadline, no extension!)
March 23, 2012: Notifications for acceptance
April 2, 2012: Camera-ready papers due
April 11, 2012: Early registration deadline

SUBMISSIONS
The proceedings will be published by Springer in the Lecture Notes in 
Computer Science series. The submissions must follow Springer LNCS 
guidelines and the maximum limits for each category:
- demonstration papers: 4 pages (poster and demonstration)
- short papers: 6 pages (talk or poster)
- full papers: 12 pages (talk)
More information on the submission formats and instructions for 
submission will be available through the conference website at 
http://www.eurohaptics2012.org. Demonstrations will be encouraged to be 
included in the program also with short and full paper presentations.

CONFERENCE VENUE
Eurohaptics 2012 will take place in Tampere, Finland. The conference
will be hosted in a lakeside setting at the Scandic Rosendahl hotel,
within 2 km from central Tampere.
