Call for Papers
==============

Let’s talk about Quantified Workplace, in conjunction with CSCW 2016.

February 28, San Francisco

https://app.quantified-workplace.com:9004/Web/workshop.html

Scope
=============

Over the past decades the advances in pervasive technology have enabled new
ways of understanding human behaviour in the workplace. This trend merged
with the new rise in the Quantified-Self movement has engendered a new
paradigm of Quantified Workplace, where sensing solutions as well as
participatory inputs could be used to model, quantify and visualise
dynamics of the workplace. In this workshop we want to start a new dialogue
to discuss challenges, insights and reflections on this topic. To this aim
we are looking for original submissions which offer new insights or propose
new techniques for Quantified Workplace. We welcome technical research
papers, qualitative research studies, case studies as well as
work-in-progress papers which could trigger discussions around the topic of
the workshop.

Topics
==============

More specifically, topics of interests include but are not limited to:

   - Analytic algorithms and modelling of Quantified Workplace behaviour
   - Qualitative studies (interviews, surveys, observations, ethnography)
   that are focused on the workplace.
   - Visualisation of the Quantified Workplace metrics
   - Sensing technologies and system platforms for the Quantified Workplace
   - Privacy Implications of the Quantified Workplace systems
   - Applications and user interfaces for the Quantified Workplace

Important Dates
===============

December 20 : Paper Submission Deadline

January 18 : Acceptance  Notification

February 28: Workshop date

Submissions
===========

All papers will be reviewed by an international program committee with the
appropriate expertise. At least two members of the Program Committee will
review submitted papers. Research contributions will be selected on the
basis their pertinence with the workshop topics, technical merit, novelty
of the proposed solution and insight they offer, as well as the potential
to trigger discussions. Submitted papers for review must not exceed six
(6) pages and should be in PDF and formatted in the SIGCHI Extended
Abstract format. The papers should be submitted through the submission
website: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=qwcscw2016
