MONDAY 1ST SEPTEMBER 2008 British Computer Society HCI 2008 Tutorials

Full day Tutorial T1: LOW COST PROTOTYPING
(Part 1: Paper Prototyping, Part 2: Thinking aloud)
Stephen Brown (De Montfort University) &
Andreas Holzinger (Medical University Graz)

This hands-on tutorial consists of two parts: Part 1 (morning) provides
practical guidance on how to resolve web design issues quickly by
developing paper prototypes. Delegates work in teams and produce and
test paper-based micro Website designs. In Part 2 (afternoon)
participants will learn how to apply the thinking-aloud method in order
to gain valuable psychological insights into the thinking and behaviour
of end-users.
