We invite contributions to the 5th Annual International Symposium on Resilient Control
Systems, to be held in Salt Lake City, Utah, August 14-16, 2012.

The conference brings
together engineers, computer scientists, and human factors researchers and practitioners
working on resilient systems, control systems, control rooms, and other safety and
security critical domains. The conference has in the past attracted a notable group of
participants from industries such as cybersecurity, robotics, energy, defense, and
academia, who engage across disciplines during sessions and throughout an engaging
social program. This year's conference features a special emphasis on "resilient cognitive
systems"--including applications of computational intelligence, human performance
modeling, and cognitive work analysis to help with the design and evaluation of resilient
systems and processes. Papers are invited from participants involved in resilience
engineering and human-machine interface design. Papers are rigorously peer-reviewed,
and the conference proceedings are published and archived by IEEE.

A number of honoraria are available for presenters of accepted papers in the area of human-system interaction and human factors.

More information on the conference and submissions can be found at:
https://secureweb.inl.gov/isrcs2012/. Paper submissions have been extended until April 23, 2012. For more
information on the conference or to suggest special topics of interest, please contact [log in to unmask]
