Dear Colleagues:
Greetings and Happy New Year.
The 16th International Conference on Collaboration Technologies and
Systems (CTS2015) is to be held in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, June 01-05,
2015. The web site is at http://cts2015.cisedu.info/cts-2015.
We are seeking qualified colleagues who are interested and available to
volunteer and help with various conference roles. The success of the
meeting depends on the expertise, good will, and hard work of the
community -- that's you!
The following roles are open at the moment:
- member of the TPC
- organizer for one of the tracks (symposia, workshops, special
sessions), posted or proposed
- Organizing Committee member (for tutorials, tracks, doctoral
dissertations, panels, demos, posters, awards, industry liaison,
sponsorships, exhibits, publications, publicity, local arrangements and
support, social events and program). Please specify which is of
interest to you.
This is the first year we are trying this open call. We hope it will
lead to a more-inclusive community and broader participation. A
position on the conference organization is one of vital importance and
responsibility. The volunteers will have strong influence over the
final program and conference content. Any comments or suggestions are
welcome!
If interested and available for one or more of these roles, please send
us a message indicating your full contact information (name, full
affiliation, job title, working email), roles you wish to take, and any
other pertinent information you deem useful such as prior experiences or
conflict of interest.
Thank you very much for your consideration and assistance. We look
forward to your participation and contributions to CTS 2015.
Sincerely,
Bill McQuay and Waleed W. Smari
on Behalf of the CTS 2015 organization
