European Tangible Interaction Studio 2016
Winter School: 25-29 January 2016 in Fribourg, Switzerland
http://www.etis.estia.fr/

The second edition of the European Tangible Interaction Studio (ETIS) is a Winter School aiming at gathering together researchers interested in the domain of tangible interfaces. During this Winter School, participants will have the opportunity to attend several lectures held by the most influential experts in tangible interaction coming from both industry and academia. Moreover, multiple workshops will be organized to provide the opportunity to collaboratively explore new concepts and build tangible interfaces using rapid prototyping kits that will be prepared by the organizers.

Hurry up: the deadline for the application is on 11th December 2015! Contact us for any request.

UPDATE:

We are glad to announce the final list of the speakers that will share their visions and knowledge during the ETIS 2016. This list includes two new lectures that will be given by Dzmitry Aliakseyeu (Philips) on interacting with lights, and Nils Wiberg (Gagarin) on qualities and perceptions of human-machinery interaction.

Final list of speakers:

- Dr. Sarah Gallacher – Intel

- More to come…

Plus, the attendees will have the chance to participate to our social event to be held at Les Diablerets Ski Resort on the Swiss Alps, where we booked a chalet to enjoy together a weekend of winter sports and typical food!
