Catherine D'Ignazio, Erhardt Graeff, Christina Harrington, and I are
organizing a one-day workshop at the CSCW conference
<https://cscw.acm.org/2020> to be scheduled for October 17 or 18 (date
TBD). The workshop will be completely virtual.
*Toward Equitable Participatory Design: Data Feminism for CSCW
amidstMultiple Pandemics*
https://cscw2020datafeminism.wordpress.com
The workshop is intended for community organizers, designers, and academics
who work on and think about design and data projects in communities and
want to explore and discuss critical approaches in the context of 2020's
multiple pandemics of COVID-19, anti-Black racism, and a global economic
crisis.
Applications to join us (short personal statements) are due September 14,
2020. More information and submission links are on the workshop website
<https://cscw2020datafeminism.wordpress.com>.
Hoping you can join us!
Daniela
