*Topics: *

Visual displays combined with tactile feedback and haptic/tactile 
displays combined with visual output have created new opportunities for 
manipulation of user interface elements. This workshop focuses on 
discussing various tactile/haptic user interfaces for mainstream and 
emerging tabletops and tablets, fusion of tactile/haptic and visual 
feedback and accessibility studies.

In this workshop, the following topics are covered:

  * *Tactile/haptic surfaces and displays*
  * *Haptic feedback by tangibles*
  * *Tactile user interface*
  * *Fusion of tactile/haptic and visual feedback*
  * *Haptic-visual collaboration (e.g., education settings)*
  * *Accessibility of tactile displays & tangible interaction*
