Are you a usability professional who is doing expert evaluations,
heuristic inspections or usability testing? Have you ever humbly
considered whether you are applying these methods in accordance with
the state-of-the-art in the area? Do you want to compare yourself to
other experts in the area and learn from them? Do you want to
contribute to the further development of these methods?

If you answered yes to two or more of the above questions, chances are
that you will find this workshop interesting.

In this workshop we will try to obtain a better understanding of the
strengths and weaknesses of the expert review and heuristic inspection
methods. We will do this by comparing results of independent expert
reviews, heuristic inspections and usability tests of the same
state-of-the-art website carried out by the participating expert
usability professionals. You must carry out an evaluation of a website
ahead of the workshop. The evaluation can either be an expert review,
a heuristic inspection or a usability test with at least five users.
The website will be selected by the organizers.
