Handbook of Research on Managerial Strategies for Achieving Optimal
Performance in Industrial Processes

(Chapters will be considered to be included in The Book Citation Index in
Web of Science)
Publication date: 2016

Full chapters may be submitted to this book here:

The aim of this book is to portray the new perspectives on the improvement
of industrial processes that has had great impact in different fields of
emerging markets as telecom, automotive sector, aerospace, agricultural,
healthcare, tourism, supply chain to mention a few. We will be open to
receive theoretical and real-world contributions in different topics and
aspects related with the optimization and improvement of industrial
The specific objectives can be summarized as:

[*]Create a collection of theoretical, real-world and original research
works in the field of Industrial Processes including: Effective service
supply chain design, Strategic outsourcing of technology and processes,
Improvement of service supply chain experience through co-creation,TIC´s
for improving and optimizing industrial processes,Knowledge management in
industrial processes, Quantitative models for managing multimodal logistics
platforms, Industrial Processes scheduling and planning, Mobile
applications in Industrial Engineering, Cloud computing in Industrial
Engineering, Cross-domain software innovations applied in Industrial
Engineering, B2C and B2B trends in emerging markets,Industrial Applications
in public and not-for-profit sectors, Service-event management, Uncertainty
in industrial practice, Logistics simulation, Simulation models for
manufacturing, Simulation-based scheduling, Simulation in warehouse
operations, Modeling of Physical, Industrial Process, Process Modeling,
among others.

[*]Go beyond the state-of-the-art in the field of Optimization and
Improvement of Industrial Processes.

[*]Publish successful applications and use cases of new approaches,
applications, methods, and techniques for Improving and Optimizing
Industrial Processes.

[*]Provide an appropriate dissemination venue from both academia and
industrial communities.

Dissemination activities such as the edition of a book are a key-enabler
for spreading knowledge to both academia and industrial communities with
the major aim of creating awareness of this new context in a proper way.
The proposed book aims then at helping in communicating and disseminating
relevant recent research in Industrial Processes.

Moreover the topics in this book are the interest to academics,
researchers, students, stakeholders and consultants.

The topics of this book include but are not limited to:
• Effective service supply chain design
• Integration of service with other supply chain processes
• Customer-focused service key performance indicators
• Measurement and optimization the value of service supply chains
