PDC 2020 - Conversations
Deadline: 1 Dec 2020
Conference: 15-19 June 2020, Menizales, Colombia
Submissions: https://www.conftool.org/pdc2020/
=====

This new category aims to foster passionate discussion about emerging concerns, future themes and alternative viewpoints through integrating, participatory formats (e.g. fishbowl conversations, world cafe, theatre of the oppressed etc). Proposals should make a case for the topic to be discussed and explain why it is pressing for the PD community to engage with it. When proposing a specific format, please consider a maximum limit of one hour, and how the space needs configuration with available elements like chairs, tables or other props. Our aim is to find rooms/spaces that fit the proposed concepts, but expect them to be flexible within reasonable limits and to fit between 60 and 100 people.

Important dates
* 1st December 2019 — Submission deadline
* 15th February 2020 — Notification of acceptance
* 15th March 2020 — Camera ready submissions deadline

Review Process
This track will be curated by the chairs. Preference will be given to formats that allow broader participation and more than listening. Selection will ensure we have a varied programme that engages PDC attendees, strengthens the community and enables people to participate.

Formatting and Length
Proposals should be made according to the instructions and appropriate template available on the submission page.
Submissions should be written in English and no longer than 4 pages. References and additional material like sketches do not count towards the page limit.
Conversations will be compiled in Vol 3 of the proceedings published by the Universidad de Caldas.

Chairs
Christopher Frauenberger (TU Wien, Vienna – AUT)
Yoko Akama (Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology – AUS)
Pablo Calderón Salazar (Universidad de Bogotá Jorge Tadeo Lozano – COL)
